Hi , I see you have ship building plans for Fletcher DD , I am going to construct the hull from foam board shape and fill , over lay the frames and longerons from thin plaster card , then use high speed tape , this is 10th gauge aluminum tape we use on temp aircraft repairs . it is soft enough to mold over the top of the frames and can be cut to look like plating its self adhesive and also will allow you to put in the rivet detail and the tin canning you get on theses thin skinned DDs

This would be a handy resource if I could find downloaded files in my phone. Googled a question about the old wooden blocks you might see on old sailing ships to tension the mast , a ship like the Black Pearl ( not sure that was ever real)
