Episode 13: Adding the Fore Cabin

Fore cabin construction is pretty straightforward, once you realize that C1 really can’t be accurately placed until C2 is glued to the center of the deck, as the front of C2 is the angle at which C1 must be glued. Measurements are given for the locations of C4 and C5, but may not be correct, as I discovered in test fitting the upper cabin sides. Drawings show the back edge of the upper cabin sides flush to the back edge of the lower cabin sides, but placing where the measurements suggest places the rear edge of the upper cabin sides well aft of the lower cabin sides. But that we’ll figure out later.
